Brazil Mission Society God-Parent Sponsorship Program
The Brazil Mission Society has set up a program called the God-parent Sponsorship Program which allows you to connect personally with one of these Brazilian children. Sponsors of the children at HTI are called God-parents. While you are not able to physically serve as parents to these children, you can be used by God to serve on their behalf. Your regular support will provide for their physical needs. In addition, as a God-parent, we ask you to 
pray for your child daily, send them special notes and words of encouragement and share with them photos and information about your own family.God-parents serve an important purpose in their sponsored child's life. Each child needs to know that they are special in God's eyes. Your financial support, your prayers, and your correspondence all work to communicate to the child that
you care about them in Jesus' name.The children at HTI are happy. They know that someone cares about them. They understand your demonstration of Christian love when you give, pray and correspond in support of them. You can make an eternal difference in their lives!
God-parent DetailsThe actual cost to sustain each child at Holy Trinity Institute is approximately $125 per month. The Institute receives no governmental assistance. We recommend that your gift be a minimum of $35 per month. Contributions can be made monthly, quarterly or annually. Each month Brazil Mission Society (BMS) sends 100% of the
collected sponsor funds to HTI. You will receive information about your child including his/her name, photo, history and a newsletter. We suggest posting the picture as a reminder to pray for your child each day.The children long to receive mail!
Brief letters, pretty cards and photos of you and your
family can be sent directly to the children, via Air Mail. We encourage God-parents to write every 4 - 6 weeks. From time to time, God-parents send extra cards, gifts and mailings to their sponsored child. You'll receive complete details on these mailings when you become a God-parent.With the Godparent Program, we say that these children are
“Half a world away, but forever in your heart!”
